General FAQ:

PropertyPulse is a comprehensive social media management platform designed specifically for real estate professionals.


If you already have a Facebook account, please proceed to Step #4.
- To create a new Facebook account, go to the Facebook homepage, fill out the information fields and click “Sign Up.”
- The next screen walks you through a 3-step process to get your new personal account setup with contacts & personal information. If you wish to bypass these steps, just click the “Skip” link in the bottom-right corner.
- A confirmation email will be sent to your email address and you must click the link in that email before your new Facebook account is activated. The link will take you back to Facebook and now you can create your business page.
- From your new Facebook account, scroll down to the very bottom of the screen and locate a small link called Create a Page. Click this link, then on the next page click on “Local Business or Place.”
- Select a Category (“Real Estate” is one of the options) and fill out the rest of the fields with your Business information. Click “Get Started”
- The next screen walks you through a 4-step process to get your new Business Page setup with images, contact information, etc. If you wish to bypass these steps, just click the “Skip” link in the bottom-right corner.
That’s it! You now have your Facebook account setup with a Business Page. To switch back-and-forth between your main account and your Business Page, just click the Settings icon (cog wheel) in the top-right corner of Facebook. You’ll see a drop-down menu appear with options to “Use Facebook As.” If you wish to create additional Business Pages, just repeat steps #4 – #6.
1. Login to PropertyPulse
2. Click on “Marketing” OR click on “Profile” and select “Social Integration”
3. In the Facebook row, select “Login with Facebook”
4. Enter your Facebook login information and click “Login”
5. Read permissions and click “Allow”
6. Make sure your account is showing as authorized inside your social integration panel. If it is, you’re all set! Your new Facebook Business Page(s) will appear in any menu asking you to “Select Facebook Page.”
Content:
1. Welcome: Add a welcome tab to introduce yourself and your business to your Facebook fans. Includes a choice of designs, editable text and basic contact information.
2. IDX: Allow your Facebook fans to search the market directly from your custom business page.
3. InstaCompare: Give your fans access to recent home values for your local area.
4. Community Reports: Allow visitors to your page to compare the demographics, nearby establishments, schools and cost of living for neighborhoods in your area.
5. School Reports: Gives visitors a comprehensive overview of local schools to help them decide which community best fits their needs.
6. View My Listings: Directs visitors directly to the listings on your website.
7. Visit My Website: Directs visitors directly to your website.
8. Blank Tab: For the more advanced user – you can add any custom content you like to a custom tab on your Facebook page.
2. Select “Cover Image Generator” on the left side of the page.
3. Follow the prompts to choose your design, add your text, preview your cover image and install it to your page!
To Add a Like or Lead Gate to Your Facebook Tabs:
- Login to your PropertyPulse account
- Click on the “Content” tab
- Click the pencil icon to in the action column next to an existing tab on your list or click “+ New Tab” button to create a new tab
- On the top right section of the page, you’ll see a section called “Gate Settings”. Simply click the button next to lead gate or like gate to add a gate to your tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the green “Install” or “Update” button to add your gate to add a gate to your Facebook tab.
To add a contact form to your welcome page
- Login to your PropertyPulse account
- Click on the “Content” tab
- Click the pencil icon to in the action column next to an existing tab on your list or click “+ New Tab” button to create a new tab and select “Welcome” from the dropdown menu
- Scroll to the bottom of tab details page and look for the Lead Capture Settings section on the bottom right side.
- Click “On” to turn on your lead capture form. You can also edit the message text and select which fields you want to require on your form.
- Make sure your tab details are set to your liking. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the green “Install” or “Update” button to your lead capture form to your Welcome tab.
Academy:
Make sure you’re logged into your PropertyPulse account. Click on the “Academy” tab to go to the dashboard. Click on the green “Proceed to Campus” button to access your on-demand courses.
Marketing:
1. Login to PropertyPulse
2. Click on “Marketing” OR click on “Profile” and select “Social Integration”
3. In the Facebook row, select “Login with Facebook”
4. Enter your Facebook login information and click “Login”
5. Read permissions and click “Allow”
6. Make sure your account is showing as authorized inside your social integration panel. If it is, you’re all set!
There are two ways to connect your PropertyPulse account to your Facebook account.
1. Login to PropertyPulse
2. Click on “Marketing” and select “Enable My Twitter Account” OR click on “Profile” and select “Social Integration”
3. In the Twitter row, click on “Login with Twitter”
4. Enter your Twitter login information and click “Sign In”
6. Make sure your account is showing as authorized inside your social integration panel. If it is, you’re all set!
1. Make sure you’re logged into PropertyPulse and click on the “Marketing” tab
2. If you’d like to post a text status, go ahead and type your message in the box. To add a link or photo, click the “Link” or “Photo” options above the text boxes.
3. Select “Post to Twitter” if you’d like to post to both your social platforms.
4. Choose whether you’d like to post your status now, schedule for later or set up a recurring post
5. Select the page you’d like to post to from your dropdown menu
6. Click on “Post Now”
1. Make sure you’re logged into PropertyPulse and click on the “Marketing” tab
2. Click on the “Calendar” tab
3. All of your scheduled posts will appear. Click on the month, week or day buttons at the top of your screen to change your view.
4. Click on any scheduled post to edit the content.
Analytics:
1. Click on the “Analytics” tab to go to your analytics page.
2. A dropdown menu will appear. Select the name of the Facebook page you’d like to view stats for.
3. Your page will reload with your Facebook analytics dashboard.
Profile / Settings:
1. Hover over profile and click “Settings”.
2. Your account information page will load and you can make any desired changes to your information.
3. Be sure to click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page to update your information.

2. Scroll down to the bottom to the “Change Password” section. Type in your new password, verify it.
3. Click the blue “Save” button to update your password.
Troubleshooting:
To verify your account and set a username:
1. Log into your facebook account
2. Click on the settings gear in the upper left-hand corner.
3. Select “Account Settings”.
4. Find “Username”. Next to the title, you should see a message that reads “You have not set a username.” Click on the “edit” link to the right of that message.
5. A message will pop up asking you to verify your account. Click the “verify via mobile phone” link
*Note: it is possible that you have already verified your account and you won’t see this message. If this is the case, please skip to step 9.
6. Enter your mobile phone number, select text or call (if given the option) and click “Continue”
7. When you receive the confirmation text or call, enter the code into the box on Facebook to verify your account and click “Confirm”
8. You will have the option to opt-in for text notifications when people update their account. Choose your settings preferences and click “Save Settings”
9. Under the “username” section, enter your desired username to make sure it is available. You will see a green check mark if your desired name is available.
10. Enter your password to confirm the changes and click “Save changes”
